Hi!
I like this theme very much, but i wanted to make it wider (but still fixed width)
I went through css style several times but the theme was not set propperly:
i changed the fllowing:
#page
#header
#footer
#sidebar
.narrowcolumn
.widecolumn
i added 70px to width each element.
after that i added 70px to left-margin of #sidebar.
Still, it is not displayed correctly…
Please, help, what am i missing!??!

how can I change the banner image?
December 8th, 2009 at 10:55 pm
Hi Kim, to change the banner image you just need to edit the file “blue_title_bg.png” on your theme’s image folder.

Great template and it works well for my church’s website but I am still struggling with what Klemen talked about to resize it.
I have done everything he said and re-sized the header and backgorund images to add 70px. Still not working. The header and footer are right but the content area is not. Any help?

Hi BroDave, it seems that you were faster than my reply! Seems like you have either missed an image or a CSS.
January 10th, 2010 at 11:23 pm
No, I didn’t fix it. I just set everything back to the default width so the site would look better. It still does not work.

Did you update “blue_content_bg.png”? This image should be the same size of #page. This is the content background image :)

Love the theme but how do I change the font and colour of the blog title. Had a look in the stylesheet but couldn’t see where?

Hi Graham, to change just the title font color you can add on the end of your style.css file this code and replace with whatever color you want:
#headerimg h1 a{color: #000000;}

I like this theme, but I do not like the way links in the post are highlighted blue! I would like to dissable this, but how?
April 11th, 2010 at 9:30 pm
To disable the blue highlight on the post title edit your style.css. Search for “a, h2 a:hover, h3 a:hover” and delete the code between {}, it should look like this:
a, h2 a:hover, h3 a:hover{}
Good luck!

Great theme! I find however some difficulties in adapting it to my Polish language version. Any hint where can the descriptions (like “read the rest of this entry”) and date be edited? Thanks :-)

Hi. we use the Blue Clouds theme. Is there any way of putting a small image (logo) in the top header?
Is there any way we can make some of the titles in the side bar a different colour or make some of them bold?
How can we put an imahe in the side bar?
Wer are not very experienced in WordPress and it is all new to us.
Thank you

Hi, I love the Blue Couds theme but I, too, find the blue-higlighted links distracting. I edited my style.css as above but the links are still blue. Do I need to remove the colour in the sidebar part, too?
a, h2 a:hover, h3 a:hover{}
#sidebar a{
color: #666;
}
Thanks for your help.

Hello, love your blue coulds theme and used it for a brand new site yesterday. Not an expert at this wordpress stuff so wonder if you can help me with this:
1) how do i remove the search and the meta sections from my side bar? I went to widgets but it doesn’t show there that the sidebar has these things showing, but they are indeed showing.
2) And I can’t find my blog page, it’s not showing at all! where the heck is it?
3) and is there a way to change the archives to show the title of the posts instead of the month & year?
Many thanks for your help and for offering this template !

Also, the categories box in the sidebar, how do i get rid of that one?
I again looked at the widgets page that lists all the things I can add to the sidebar, but it doesn’t show the search, the categories and the meta section as being there already at all!
many, many thanks !
